Ans :- A well defined documented procedure need to be followed ,because stake holders and vendor are geographically different location.Regular weekly meetings,status updates help keep the progress in check. Since outside entity is involved and if vendor's work is getting delayed due to your companys delays ,you may need to come up internal strategies to escalate these kind of issues to proper authority promptly. These kind of unforseen factors needs to be spelled out in contract terms and conditions.
